Terms of Service
Last updated: August 25, 2026
WE'VE is a friendship-deepening app operated by Till LLC, a California limited liability company based in San Diego, California ("WE'VE," "we," "us"). These terms govern your use of the WE'VE mobile app and website at weve.us (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
We've written these to be as plain and honest as we can. If anything is unclear, email us at connect@weve.us.
1. Who can use WE'VE
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are, and that any information you give us about yourself is accurate.
2. Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us right away at connect@weve.us if you believe someone else has accessed your account. One person per account — please don't share accounts or impersonate anyone.
3. Your groups and your content
WE'VE is built around small, private groups of friends. What you write — your responses, replies, and photos — is your content, and it stays yours. You give us only the limited permission we need to operate the Service: to store your content, display it to the members of the group you posted it in, and back it up.
A few things that follow from how groups work:
- What you post in a group is visible to that group's members. Choose what you share accordingly, and be someone worth trusting with what others share with you.
- The person who starts a group administers it (its name, settings, and photo). Joining a group means the prompts your group receives are shaped in part by that group's settings and preferences.
- If you leave a group or delete your account, your past responses may remain visible to the group so the conversation stays intact — see the Privacy Policy for how to have them removed.
4. AI-generated prompts
Conversation prompts on WE'VE are generated with the help of artificial intelligence, shaped by your group's preferences. We review-gate them for safety and tone, but AI-generated content can be imperfect — a prompt may occasionally miss the mark for your group. Skipping any prompt is always fine.
WE'VE is a tool for friendship, not a substitute for professional care. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. If you or someone in your group is in crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S.) or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line).
5. What you agree not to do
Use WE'VE only as it's meant to be used: real people, deepening real friendships. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, in or out of your group;
- Post content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights (including sharing another person's private information without their permission);
- Use the Service to send spam, run scams, or advertise;
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other people's accounts or groups;
- Scrape the Service or use it to build a competing dataset or product;
- Misrepresent who you are to join a group.
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — where the situation allows, we'll tell you why.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how we use it — including how group preferences are used to generate prompts. The short version we hold ourselves to: what you share on WE'VE is for your group, not for the public; we never sell your personal information; and your content is not used to train AI models.
7. Fees
WE'VE is currently free to use. If that ever changes, we'll tell you clearly and in advance, and nothing will start costing money without your agreement.
8. Ending things
You can stop using WE'VE and delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete My Profile) or by emailing connect@weve.us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or where we're required to by law. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (like content licenses for what remains in group threads, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive account closure.
9. The legal paragraphs
The Service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep WE'VE available, safe, and working well, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Till LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service; and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity. If your violation of these terms causes us to face a third-party claim, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
